As an employer you have legal responsibilities to provide and pay into a suitable Workplace Pension Scheme for your qualifying employees. Strict minimum rules apply on which non-compliance is NOT an option (unless you like financial ruin). Amongst other matters, you must decide on:
- The provider of your Pension Scheme
- The contributions that you and your employees will pay into the Pension
- The method of enrolment (Auto Enrolment or Contractual Enrolment)
- The deferment period before employees are enrolled
- Communication and employee engagement methods
- The integration with your payroll
- Your audit and reporting processes
- Salary Exchange (or otherwise)
- How you wish to promote the Pension Scheme
